Welcome to the Academy for Continuing Medical Education, LLC.
We provide American Heart Association Provider and Renewal courses through the San Marcos Hays County Emergency Medical Services Training Center. We also offer classes in Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support, “Emergency Response to Code Situations”, and have access to the Neonatal Resuscitation Program classes offered by American Association of Pediatricians.
ACME, LLC can customize any program to your needs. Our instructors are a collection of Emergency Medical Personnel with over 100 years of experience collectively. Included in our staff are firefighters, EMTs, Paramedics, and Nurses with multiple specializations. They have experience in both urban and rural settings, emergency room, surgical, Intensive & Critical care hospital, as well as ground, rotor, and fixed wing critical care medical transport. This diverse range of real world experience allows us to provide expertise in patient assessment, didactic skills, etc.
Physician oversight is provided by Mark Sparkman, MD and the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio
Dr. Sparkman is Board Certified in Emergency Medicine and practicing in the San Antonio area.
